Things to pack: bottled water, sunscreen, hats, walking shoes, hand sanitizer, map of the area, and a camera. You may need mosquito repellent at some locations.
Bring a cooler with ice. Many of the farms will have their products for sale; find the specific items they’ll offer in the following pages. If you plan on purchasing produce from farms, remember to bring cash, not all farms take credit or debit cards.
Do not arrive earlier or later than tour. These are working farms and many sell at markets. Also, please do not enter private homes unless your are invited.
Do not bring pets on the tour.
Remember to wash your hands. Many farms will have hand washing facilities, or please use the hand sanitizer. We ask that you wash your hands after petting animals and between farm visits to keep yourself and the farms safe.
Supervise your children closely as animals, electric fences, and farm equipment can be dangerous to children.
