No experience is needed to become a Shadowood Gardener. Here at the farm, we rent out ready made garden beds and teach people how to grow their own food in a sustainable and environmentally conscious way. We still have a few spaces available, but don't delay- our prime growing season is drawing near!
Last season, new gardener Marlene exclaimed, "You don't understand. I even kill silk plants!" Well last season Marlene and hubby Len created loads of amazing food while only using the required organic products. In addition to their Shadowood garden, Marlene and Len now have the confidence to grow a few potted veggies and herbs at home as well.
If you're interested in learning to grow delightful vegetables and herbs, e-mail us right away to schedule a visit to the farm. Our garden beds are currently taking their summer naps, so they can be ready for seeds and plant by October 1. Our various "How To Garden" Workshops begin in mid-September.
