HORTICULTURAL CONSULTING:
This professional service is offered to those needing detailed information and guidance at their residence or place of business from mid– October through May.

We will gladly review your current landscape plantings and give you advice on the health of your plants, proper pruning techniques, diagnose pest problems, fertilization suggestions or how to liven up your existing design concept.

Fees: $65.00 for first Hour, $35.00 for each additional hour.

PLANT INSTALLATION:
Our Installation Fees vary according to the overall scope of each project.

In the case of larger Trees, our fees are set according to the container size the plant is grown in and whether equipment (such as a Bobcat) will be needed for the installation.

For a small quantity of Shrubs or Bedding Plants, our fees are based on an hourly rate and how far we are required to travel.

For larger renovation or new residence work, our installation fees are based on a percentage of our wholesale costs.

Because our farm is currently for sale, we are unable to book work more than 6 weeks in advance. Our current windows for installing plant materials before we close for the summer are extremely limited and will need to be discussed on a case by case basis. LANDSCAPE DESIGN:
We do not perform Instant Landscape Design During your visit to our Nursery!

If you arrive at the farm and tell us that you want to plant a hedge that grows eight feet tall in full sun and well drained soil, we can certainly show you the plants we have in stock that will technically fit that bill.

If you pull in and say, "The front of my house looks boring. I need something colorful to make it look pretty," we will show you the Display Area, encourage you to look around and that is the end of this story.

Without seeing your house, knowing the soil type, the dimensions of planting areas, the sun exposures, there is NO WAY that we can give you any REAL advice!

Please don’t think of us as being rude if we don’t start doing cartwheels and pull rabbits out of our hats to get you to load up your trunk with a bunch of plants. We work very hard to grow things and we want our plants to have good homes where they will thrive and live happy lives.

We’d rather not sell you a plant at all than sell you the wrong plant. We can’t know what the right plant is unless we become familiar with your garden!

DESIGN CONSULTING:
As a Landscape Designer rather than a Landscape Architect, by law, we are not at liberty to provide you with a paper plan that you can present to other firms for Estimates.

We will gladly allow you to review a “Rough Sketch/ Conceptual Design” plan that will demonstrate how WE will install proposed plantings at your residence; however, this Sketch does not leave our office.

We do not competitively bid against other installation firms, nor do we provide designs for others to install.
