To celebrate Slow Food Gold and Treasure Coast Local Food Week, Shadowood Farm is pleased to share the movie, DEEPLY ROOTED on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:15PM. This documentary film features renowned heirloom seed saver, classically trained artist and Master Gardener John Coykendall on his quest to preserve the seeds and stories of a small Louisiana farming community. Shadowood Farm is one of only two USDA Certified Organic farms in Martin County (the other is Lakeside Ranch of Indiantown). The farm is open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 10-5:30, as well as Saturdays from 10-1 for fresh, local and ORGANIC produce sales.
